Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What should I wear to class?

Salsa, Bachata, or Cha-cha

Shoes: If you already own a pair of dance shoes with suede bottoms that would be your best choice. Otherwise ladies, please wear comfortable heels that you can spin in (up to 2.5 inches) and gentlemen, please wear dress shoes.

Clothes: We recommended that you wear comfortable clothes such as jeans and t-shirt. But feel free to dress up in a skirt or dress pants but not mandatory. (Some people tend to dress up since they plan on going out after the class).

Hip-hop

Running shoes and baggy sportswear.

Zumba

Running shoes and workout clothes

Hot Hula

Running shoes or bare feet, sarong or workout clothes.

Q:  Do I need a dance partner for Salsa, Bachata, or Cha-cha?

Don’t stress out, a partner is not required! We rotate partners during class.

Q: Where should I park?

You’ll find plenty of street parking around the studio. Street parking is free daily after 6pm, and free all day on Sunday’s & Holiday’s. You can also find a $2 Parking lot on the corner of Denny, Stewart, and Yale.

Q: What if I miss a class in a Salsa series?

Dont’ worry, if you have purchased a 4 class series package and you will be missing a class you can make it up on other day. We usually have more than one beginner series running the same month.

Q: What is your refund policy / cancellation policy?

There are no refunds for class packages or pre-paid drop ins. Cancellations for private lessons or special arrangement classes will only be allowed with advanced 24 hour notice, and must be made up within 3 months.

Q: I am interested in the performance team. How do I Join?

We get lots of inquiries about joining a performance team.  Being on a performance team is fun, provides opportunity to travel and dance, and helps you become a better dancer, faster! Please email us to audition. There are monthly dues involved with the performance team.  Practices are generally twice a week for 2 hour sessions.  A minimum commitment of 6 months is expected.
