About Somos el Son

Somos el Son is a locally and nationally recognized non-profit Salsa dance organization committed to spreading the love and joy of Salsa dancing to our community.

For the past ten years, Somos el Son has offered numerous fantastic shows to its loyal supporters, performing in Seattle as a special guest at the Oscar de L’eon concert, Seattle Folk Life Festival, Rumba del Barrio, Seattle Salsa Congress, as well as at various corporate events such as Adbash, Accenture Annual Celebration, and the new EMP exhibit, ‘American Sabor’.

Somos el Son has also performed at various events in Portland OR to support the further growth of Salsa in the North West, as well as the international Vancouver Salsa Congress, Sanfrancisco Salsa Congress, Los Angeles Salsa Congress, and the New York Salsa Congress.
